As part of a continuous development approach, Lucane Pharma has established a quality policy regarding promotional information, which aims to guarantee ethical practices for all its employees and therefore for its Pharmaceutical Promotion Representatives in contact with healthcare professionals.
On October 15, 2014, CEPS (Economic Committee for Health Products) and LEEM (French Pharmaceutical Industry Association) signed a new “Information Charter” regarding information gathering or research activities aimed at promoting medicines. This charter aims to support the quality of promotional information provided to healthcare professionals and the proper use of medicines.
In March 2017, HAS (Haute Autorité de Santé – French National Authority for Health) published a new certification reference framework that converts this charter into measurable criteria and requirements. Compliance with this charter is assessed by an annual audit conducted by accredited bodies.
This certification is mandatory for all companies that have signed a contract with CEPS and engage in medicine promotion activities aimed at healthcare professionals.
Lucane Pharma is committed to maintaining this quality approach and implementing the new standards.
Compliance and conformity with the charter and the requirements of the standard are assessed annually through an audit conducted by an accredited body.
Lucane Pharma received certification for its medicine promotion activities from the certification body Bureau Veritas.
